Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Organic strawberries
  • 2 cups Cold water
  • ½ cup White vinegar
  • 16 oz. Dark chocolate
  • 8 oz. White Chocolate
  • Sprinkles optional
  • Gold foil optional
  • Edible glitter optional

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine the water and vinegar. Add in the strawberries and allow them to soak for approximately 10 minutes (If any strawberries appear bruised or have blemishes discard).
  • Rinse the strawberries with lukewarm water and dry carefully. Transfer the strawberries to a cooling rack lined with paper towels. Cover the strawberries with plastic wrap and refrigerator overnight (allows the strawberries to completely dry before dipping into chocolate).
  • Remove the strawberries from the refrigerator and allow them to reach room temperature.
  • Melt the chocolate as desired.
  • Once the chocolate is melted begin dipping the strawberries. Grab the strawberries by the steam and dip them into the chocolate.
  • Remove any excess chocolate from the bottom of the berry by scraping using the edge of the bowl or cup.
  • Place the chocolate covered strawberry onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to set.
  • Decorate the chocolate covered strawberries as desired. If adding sprinkles be sure to add them before the chocolate sets on the berries.
  • Store the decorated strawberries in an airtight container for up to 48 hours. We highly recommend to eat right away.
