Sheet Pan Steak Fajitas

I’m a sucker for easy dinner recipes. All you have to do is cut up some fresh veggies, add the meat and seasoning. Then throw it all in the oven….One and done! What I love about fajitas is the spice, the sizzling sound, and oh the endless amounts of toppings. What do you like to eat your fajitas with? Comment below I am interested to know.

The Ingredients

To make these amazing fajitas you’ll need the following: 3 bell peppers, 1 large onion, 1.5 pounds of 1/4 inch sliced steak, kosher salt, fresh black pepper, olive oil, cumin, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and Mexican Oregano. To make life easier, mix together all the seasonings in a small bowl. Then, before cooking the fajitas sprinkle the seasoning onto the onions, peppers, and strip steak.

Preparing the Sheet Pan

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Using a cutting board cut the onions and bell peppers into thinly slices. Next, line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper. Transfer the sliced onions and bell peppers to the cookie sheet. Then, spread out the strip steak and make sure the peppers, onions, and steak are spaced out enough. After that, season the meat and veggies well the ingredients listed above. Lastly, drizzle extra virgin olive oil and half of lime all over the seasoned peppers, onions, and steak. Now, on to fun the part, which is baking all this goodnesses for 10-12 minutes. I recommend checking after 10 minutes because the last thing you ever want is tough dry steak.

Toppings for Steak Fajitas

Alright now that the goodness is cooked..it’s time to put it all together and eat it! First things first, heat up your favorite taco shell. Ours is almond flour tortillas….what’s yours? After warming up the tortillas fill them with the steak fajitas. Lastly, top them off with your favorite toppings such as pico de gallo, lime juice, gucamole, shredded lettuce, etc. The list goes on and on…
